After a week of eating out, I just want home cooked meals. Does anyone else feel that way after vacation? We stay in rental houses with kitchens but it’s not the same as cooking at your own house. (Case in point: we learned you can bake biscuits on the flat side of a large pot lid.) And after a week of lots of fried seafood, we all are craving anything but fried food.
We will be having my brother- and sister-in-law visiting for a long weekend, along with their two kids, so I’m trying to have some healthy meals that will appeal to a six year old.
Monday – last of the mega Costco hotdog pack from the Fourth of July/Addison’s Coming Home party
Tuesday – Grilled Steak and Grilled Corn Salad with Feta
Wednesday – Bruschetta Grilled Chicken Zoodle Bowls (recipe here)
Thursday – Cheese Stuffed Turkey Meatloaf from SkinnyTaste (recipe here)
Friday – Chicken Stuffed Pitas with tzatziki, tomatoes and cucumbers
